Orientation Leaders

Orientation Leaders are ambassadors that help ease the transition to IU by educating incoming students and their families on IU resources, opportunities, and expectations.

Orientation leaders engage students and their families in discussions and activities to help them prepare for their IU experience. They host programs that guide students through an exploration of academics, involvement, and all that IU has to offer. Orientation Leaders are a vital part of New Student Orientation, helping to share the Hoosier perspective from those who live it every day.

Benefits include: hourly pay, summer housing, orientation team gear, leadership experience, possible internship credit, as well as memories and skills that will stay with you forever. Those selected for the team will need to be available the U495 course scheduled between 6-8pm on Mondays during the second eight-weeks. Additional information about the position and expectations will be released soon.
