Orientation Specialists (returning OTeam staff members) assist incoming students and their families as they prepare for their transition to IU.
From the time students are admitted through their first year, Orientation Specialists respond to questions and concerns via phone and email and welcome incoming Hoosiers to IU.
Orientation Specialists take any and every question from students, parents, and guests, and track down accurate answers. Together, we take this larger-than-life university and turn it into a small community. Working with FYE is more than just a job—we are family.

This position offers hourly pay, up to 10 hours/week during fall and spring, up to 30–35 hours/week during the summer, apparel, and the possibility to take summer courses scheduled around work hours. This position will help you hone your leadership, communication, organization, and teamwork skills, all while learning about IU and its resources and sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm with incoming Hoosiers.
