WW Teams consist of a Team Coordinator and Team Members, who are responsible for creating a welcoming environment, event planning for late nights, and supporting both campus-wide and localized events.

All team members help implement events in August to welcome new students. Each member is required to help with their team’s events in the evenings, which are set and determined by each team. Each member is also required to volunteer for 1–2 shifts during major Welcome Week events. Please click on the sections below for more information about these positions.

The International Student Welcome Team (ISWT) will also have one Team Coordinator and up to 15 Team Members and receive similar benefits in relation to the position. ISWT moves in early to provide a welcoming environment and implement programs for international students who arrive at the beginning of August. The Transfer Student Welcome Team will also have one Team Coordinator and up to 15 Team Members and receive similar benefits in relation to the position. This team wil work specifically to connect with transfer students as they transition to campus.
