IU Bucket List: Your Must Do at IU

The IU Bucket List is a list of events and places to explore before you graduate from IU. New students receive a copy of the IU Bucket List at New Student Orientation that they can update as they complete items.

  • Ask a librarian at Wells Library for help with a research project
  • Attend a cultural center event
  • Attend a live concert in Bloomington
  • Catch a movie at the IU Cinema
  • Cheer on the Hoosiers at a free athletic event
  • Connect with a professor during office hours
  • Take part in a Rec Sports activity
  • Dance to international music at the Lotus World Music and Arts Festival
  • Experience an opera at the Musical Arts Center
  • Experience the arts at First Thursdays
  • Explore a local farmers market
  • Explore the Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist Cultural Center & Kumbum Chamtse Ling Monastery
  • Find your favorite ice cream shop
  • Go bowling or see a movie at IU Late Nite in the IMU
  • Go on a late-night tour of campus with friends
  • Go on an outdoor adventure in or near Bloomington
