In addition to getting ready for IU and learning how to be a Hoosier, NSO is about making connections and forming relationships that will last four years—and even longer. Throughout the summer, we’ll offer a variety of virtual spaces and events where you can connect with other new Hoosiers, current IU students, and the IU community.
Within Canvas, you’ll be added to your Cream & Crimson Community, a peer group with other new students. Each group will be mentored by an OTeam member—a current IU student who will help you throughout the NSO program and as you start your first year at IU.
We also encourage you to join one—or all—of the NSO events below and build community before your first semester even starts!
Since 1938, IU Hillel has created a warm, welcoming, and caring Jewish community on campus—a home away from home. We support and honor the diversity of the Jewish student community and are dedicated to assuring that Jewish students have opportunities to recognize and develop their leadership potential and to express their Jewishness in many traditional and creative ways. Join the staff of IU Hillel to learn about their resources, programs, and ways to connect throughout the year.
As you start your IU college career in August, the relationships you made during the summer will continue to solidify. You’ll learn about our wonderful campus and community as we salute you during Welcome Week and invite you to join Hoosier Experience events.
