Connect With Students

Find your home at IU

In addition to getting ready for IU and learning how to be a Hoosier, NSO is about making connections and forming relationships that will last four years—and even longer. Throughout the program, we’ll offer a variety of virtual spaces and events where you can connect with other new Hoosiers, current IU students, and the IU community.

During your NSO reservation process, you will be able to select a time to attend a required student group meeting, during which you’ll learn about campus and meet other new Hoosiers. The meeting will last about an hour led by an Orientation Team member—a current IU student who will help you throughout the NSO program and as you start your first year at IU.

We also encourage you to dive deeper into specific topics with the following NSO Topic Sessions to make sure you are comfortable and ready for life at IU.
