This is it! Now that you’ve made a reservation for your remote academic advising appointment, you’re ready to begin the three-part NSO Canvas modules: 2020–2021 New Student Orientation (Bloomington).
Our online NSO program will give you an opportunity to learn and explore at your own pace, while accomplishing important tasks to make sure you are prepared for your first year. This is also where you’ll meet—and dare we say, make friends with—other new Hoosiers. Throughout your program, we’ll offer live programs and chats for you to learn more directly from current students and staff about campus and the many resources available to you.
The Canvas modules are split up into three required parts:
- Part 1: Beginning your Hoosier steps—Get an overview of IU Bloomington’s campus and academics, and prepare for your advising and registration.
- Part 2: Business of being a Hoosier—Learn about important campus resources and information, including technology, transportation, health and wellness, and more.
- Part 3: Hoosier Experience—Get introduced to the programs that will support you through your first year.
