Your remote academic advising appointment will take place in real time with your academic advisor. A few days prior to your NSO advising appointment, visit your confirmation page in the Orientation Portal to verify the date and time of your appointment and access the Zoom link for your virtual meeting.
Here are a few important things to keep in mind:
- Your specific NSO advising appointment will only be one hour within your selected date/time range noted in your NSO reservation.
- All times are noted in Eastern Time Zone. If needed, use a time zone converter.
Make sure to complete required tasks including placement exams and modules prior to your NSO advising appointment.
During your appointment, you’ll meet with your academic advisor via Zoom to talk through your academic plan, including your intended major and classes you plan to take. Your academic advisor will help you register for classes.
You will leave this session with your schedule for your first semester!
