Build your IU community
Looking for new ways to network and introduce yourself to other new Hoosiers? Crimson Connections is a great way to meet other first year students.
If you participate, you will be connected to other students interested in meeting new people. You and your group will connect virtually before Welcome Week and have opportunities to attend events, explore campus, compare class notes, and more. These groups are a great way to get started at IU.
You can sign up after you’ve make a reservation for your New Student Orientation (NSO) program. This summer, all students who have signed up will be sent an invitation to a Zoom meeting in early August. After you attend the meeting, you will be added to a GroupMe to continue to communicate with other students. Your group will also include an FYE student staff member who will suggest events and check in on your group.
You will learn more about Crimson Connections throughout your NSO program and through the Hoosier Network. Ready to join? If you have an NSO reservation, you can sign up for a Crimson Connection group today.
