Welcome Week Team Coordinators will be appointed to lead a team along with a professional staff member advisor. They arrange the duties and development of Team Members, plan late-night programming, and assist with a campus-wide planning assignment. WW Team Coordinators are selected by March and must attend planning meetings in March and April, as well as other meetings or trainings set by the Team Advisor.
Each WW Team Coordinator will receive professional development, leadership skills, an opportunity to move back to campus early, all the benefits that Team Members receive, and $60 in CrimsonCash.
Welcome Week Team Members report to a WW Team Coordinator and Team Advisor. Welcome Week Team Members will work together to implement events and create a welcoming environment. WW Team Members move to campus early and will have any on-campus early arrival fees covered. They will develop leadership and other marketable skills and will receive a t-shirt and some meals.
The International Student Welcome Team (ISWT) will also have one Team Coordinator and up to 15 Team Members and receive similar benefits in relation to the position. ISWT moves in early to provide a welcoming environment and implement programs for international students who arrive at the beginning of August. The Transfer Student Welcome Team will also have one Team Coordinator and up to 15 Team Members and receive similar benefits in relation to the position. This team wil work specifically to connect with transfer students as they transition to campus.
