New students receive a copy of the IU Bucket List at New Student Orientation that they can update as they complete items.
Print and complete this list before you graduate.
- Go on a late night tour of campus
- Sing the fight song at “The Traditions and Spirit of IU”
- Attend the Little 500 men’s or women’s race
- Hike around Griffy Lake
- Experience the Bloomington Farmer’s Market
- Dance to international music at the Lotus World Music and Arts Festival
- Have lunch along the Jordan River
- Sample different international foods at CultureFest
- Watch “Breaking Away” and look for places you recognize on campus
- Hear a lecture or see a show at the IU Auditorium
- Order freshly baked cookies during a late night conversation with friends
- Taste culture at many of the international restaurants on 4th street
- Spend a summer in Bloomington
- Relax near the fireplace in the IMU

- Watch the sun come up after an all-night study session
- Attend an African American Arts Institute Event
- Look at the stars from the Kirkwood Observatory
- Wear IU gear to the Homecoming parade
- Rock out at a live music show
- Go bowling or see a free movie at the IMU
- Sing along at a Straight No Chaser concert
- Get a glimpse of life in Bloomington by volunteering in the community
- Score some free breadsticks
- Support the local arts at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater
