Students enter IU at four points throughout the year
FYE offers four distinct New Student Orientation (NSO) programs for students and their parents/family.
The four NSO programs vary a bit, but all include sessions such as:
- Academic Advising and Enrollment
- Professor’s Perspective, during which an IU faculty member discusses expectations in the classroom
- Topical sessions on subjects like finances, billing, technology, health and safety, student success resources, student issues and involvement, and CrimsonCard (Student ID).
- Student ID pick-up
