Start your IU journey with an unforgettable trip. IUBeginnings trips, held each August before Welcome Week, take you on an adventure that will ease you into college life and introduce you to 10 to 30 future friends.IUBeginnings has something for everyone, with more than a dozen trips in tracks such as outdoor adventures, arts and culture, community service, exploration of majors and careers, and leadership development. Trip fees range from $245-$530.
Whether you’re whitewater rafting in the Appalachian Mountains or networking with employers in Chicago, you’ll bond with other new students and talk about academics, diversity, and other aspects of life at IU.
You’ll also start your IU experience early and avoid the rush of Move In Day. (Your parents and moving buddies will thank you.)
